It’s proving more difficult than I remember to incorporate working out in to my schedule. I think having a few different gym partners will help with that. I worked out today after feeling gloomy for most of the day. It is amazing how much sweating is not only a physical, but emotional and mental release for me. 10 minutes on the treadmill, 30 on the elliptical, 5 minutes of stretching and 570 cal burned.
I have a gym date for the am, rest Wednesday, night gym date on Thursday, then rest Friday. Let’s do this!
My eating has been erratic, my workouts non existent, and my negative self talk has been running rampant. This is stopping.
I went to the gym this morning and was reunited with the treadmill (10 min warm up for .5 of a mile) and elliptical (30 minutes on intervals) and it was honestly glorious.
I am tracking again on MFP and I am determined to try to control the things I have power over and accept and move past the things I can not.
Like the phoenix, I will rise from the ashes.
